The title of this blog comes from Isaiah 62:4 which says, “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.”
A person’s greatest soul-winning tool is their testimony and a minister once asked me to write mine, believing it could help others. Therefore, through this blog I hope to encourage others (both Christians and seekers alike) through my testimony and thoughts on the Word of God and the church.
Sometimes giving a testimony can be hard if it involves hardship in the past in instances like abuse. The purpose of a testimony is never to highlight the negative nor to throw someone’s past up in their face. God is a healer–THE HEALER–and forgiveness always abounds. It is never my intent to hurt someone with the past–only to offer hope to those facing the same struggles and to lead them to the Healer.
Also, because throughout one’s life so many situations are faced this blog can vary in topics. That said, the point is always to lead back to the one common denominator: Jesus, our Healer.
